A FLOOD OF GRACE IN OUR LIVES
DECEMBER 6, 2022 / DAY 2#
TODAY’S RHEMA
Psalms 29:10 The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood, And the LORD sits as King forever.
Living in a city far from her parents to pursue her education, Jean lived well and with enthusiasm. Until when Jean received shocking news. From the results of her health check, she was diagnosed with a tumor that had to be removed immediately. Even then, she had to concentrate on working on her thesis as her final study assignment. Jean was disappointed in God and did not understand why God seemed to mess up the plans she had arranged neatly.
The target is to complete the thesis and graduate soon, but it must be delayed. Coupled with the worry about the cost of the operation burdening her parents, Jean’s mind was so chaotic. But in helplessness, finally, Jean decided to surrender and ask God for grace. She told her parents, and they came with her brother to accompany Jean to undergo surgery. The love, care, and support she received blessed her very much. She received one more surprise because it turned out that the health insurance had covered all costs that her father had long owned. Her joy increased when she completed her thesis with satisfactory grades and graduated with Cum laude predicate.
Only God can bring a flood of grace into our lives. God can turn them into abundance and joy, even in drought and stress. Therefore, let our hearts not be affected by circumstances. Keep putting your hope and faithfully waiting on God because He will overwhelm those who hope in Him with abundant grace and love.
