Anxiety Could Kill Our Potential (Morning)

TODAY’S RHEMA

Luke 12:25 “And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

Talking about worrying, no figure could fit better for our illustration than Peter. He is the second man in history who ever walking on the water. At first, he managed to stand still, then walked. He felt wonderful and could do anything. But he was reminded of his limit when a slow breeze of air touched him, he was afraid. He let anxiety and worry took place, replacing God’s blessing.

Anxiety and worry are indeed very dangerous. Many Christians experienced it. Those instrumental in His works were pressured by this world to abandon their services. The world pushes us to our limit, always reminds us about our late bills, debts, or marriage. Those are proven to be debilitating to our spiritual lives. The small breeze of “future” prevents us from walking towards Jesus and embracing Him. We cannot think clearly and are clouded by our limited judgment and knowledge. We lost our chance to improve ourselves and prove our worth.

Right now, embrace His words and sayings: the time to be fruitful is now. Don’t let anxiety and worry choke your true potential, your true self. Let Holy Spirit guides you and shows you how it must be done. He is greater than your anxiety and worries, all He asks for you is to believe.
