ARISE IN HOPE [EVENING]

FOOD FOR THE SOUL

Zechariah 9:11-17

RHEMA

Zechariah 9:12 Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.

Maggie no longer has any hope inside. She feels disappointed and heartbroken. Countless times she tries her best to make her husband attend church services. He makes his words but he broke it again and again. Her willingness to serve God and become His instrument of good is faded, slowly but surely. As usual, her husband make his promise, and as usual, he breaks it. She reaches her limit. “That’s it! I’m done” she no longer cares if her husband wants to be saved or not.

Because of her efforts and struggles to ask her husband, now she’s late herself. Begrudgingly she just listens Sunday service online. Pastor Obaja, tells about prophetic winds of Holy Spirit, South Winds of Salvation. When she listens to it, she feels something happens. Her heart’s no longer broken, her spirit re-ignited. Her faith in her husband and her family is restored. She believes, Holy Spirit only brings greatness and salvation. She now firmly believes that her family would be His channel to spread love and blessings to another families.

We certainly face multiple troubles, but don’t make it an excuse to abandon our hope. He is faithful to us, He Himself said that He will turn our struggles and problems into our crown. When we feel weak and vulnerable, do not throw His call away, or abandon our faith and just give up your hope. He is our fortress and primary source of power. He will make us able to withstand every hardships and put inside us hope. A hope that God will send upon us a prophetic winds from South. This winds would set us free from everything.
