Be Planted to be Fruitful (Noon)

RHEMA

Jeremiah 17:8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Nancy’s mother loved oranges so she planted several orange trees in her garden. The trees produced a lot of fruit that was sweet and fresh. After she passed away, Nancy took care of her mother’s favorite orange trees. One time, she had to move to another city. She felt sorry to leave her orange trees. She also took the initiative to buy some big pots and move the trees there so she could take them to a new place.

Long story short, after tidying up her things, Nancy took out and planted the orange trees in her new yard. A few days later, the leaves began to wither and dry up. Although Nancy tried to provide fertilizer and fertile soil, some of the orange trees could not survive and died. Some of them began to appear new leaves, but the fruits they produced were only one or two, and even then it took a long time.

Just as roots will only be planted in one place and are not designed to move, we will not be able to grow well if we are not planted and rooted in one place. When we are faithfully planted in one local church, our roots will be deeper and stronger. Even if there are shocks and storms, we will stand firm and not be shaken. Therefore, have faithfulness in the house of God. When we have found the right local church and made our faith grow fast, immediately planted there. Register as a regular member and continue to be faithfully embedded there. Then our lives will always be fresh and produce dense fruit.
