Believe, Plan and Get Our Plan Fulfilled in God (Evening)

Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.

Who doesn’t know Cristiano Ronaldo? Professional football player with a myriad of amazing achievements. Who would have thought, Ronaldo actually came from a very poor family, which made him often ridiculed by his friends when he was a child. Even while in the womb, her mother had intended to abort her. She thought she would not be able to raise him.

There is an interesting story when Ronaldo was 12 years old. With his friends, he watched a football match on TV which at that time featured Real Madrid, his favorite Spanish club. Ronaldo said that one day he would play for the club and become a big player. His friends must have laughed at him. But Ronaldo did not look at his poor condition or his friends who ridiculed him. Instead, he looked ahead. His belief that he would one day become a great football player made him continue to train diligently. Ronaldo BELIEVE, then made a PLAN by diligently training until he actually ACHIEVED his dream of becoming a professional footballer and finally managed to join his dream club, Real Madrid.

What happened to Ronaldo is similar to the example of Abraham, the father of believers. When God sent him to the land of Canaan, Abraham remained obedient. Abraham did not see his condition at that time who was still blind about the Land of Canaan. Abraham looked far ahead. He believed that the land of Canaan was a fertile land as promised by God. He then did PLANNING by preparing provisions and bringing his wife and relatives. And finally, Abraham managed to ACHIEVE the fertile land of Canaan as promised by God. Thus should, after we can see God’s promise, believe and make plans. Take the steps we need to take, and see how God leads us to achieve what God has promised us to have. AMEN.

Once you can see God’s promises, BELIEVE and make a PLAN to ACHIEVE our Promised Land.

1. Have you seen and believed in God’s promises for your life?
2. Have you planned to achieve what you expect?
3. What is your commitment to reach God’s promised land

“Lord Jesus, Your plans are beautiful and wonderful for us. Forgive us, who sometimes still doubt. Forgive us for not being able to look far ahead. O Lord, enable us to trust with all our hearts in You. Let what You design for our lives, we may achieve. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
