Build A Relationship with The Holy Spirit (Evening)

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The Apostle Paul was known as a radical apostle in preaching the gospel. In his ministry life, he often experienced challenges. As a human, he might experience disappointment, anger, and so on. But the Bible never records about it.

It seemed like he had extra strength so that his heart could always be clean and he was still able to do his ministry with joy. One of the secrets is that he spoke in tongues a lot more than anyone else. That is what made his spirit connected to God continually. He conveyed what was in his heart to God through tongues. He built himself up by speaking in tongues. In fact, he also gained new strength by doing so. Not surprisingly, the more it was suppressed, the more his spirit burned for God and his ministry had a big impact on God’s name.

Yes, when we speak in tongues, it is our spirits that pray to God and say the groanings which cannot be uttered. And it might prevent us from moving forward if we do not immediately resolve it. It will affect our lives. Therefore, if we want our spiritual man to get stronger every day, follow the example of the Apostle Paul. Train ourselves to speak TONGUES more. We will feel relief and even get new strength every day because we are building a continuous relationship with the Holy Spirit. Our hearts will be cleansed more and more and the Holy Spirit will be delighted to live in us more. Hallelujah!

As we train ourselves to SPEAK IN TONGUES, we are building a continual RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

1. Do you know the importance of speaking in tongues for your life?
2. What difference do you feel when praying in tongues and not?
3. Write down your commitment to speaking in tongues more often.

“Jesus, thank you for the Holy Spirit in our lives. We want to have a deeper relationship with You even more. Enable us to train ourselves, be consistent and even grow in our spirits by speaking in tongues more so that we are filled with You. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
