SOW WITH JOY

JULY 1, 2023 / DAY #6

TODAY’S RHEMA

2 Corinthians 9:7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

When someone gives you a gift, but that person gives it to you with a gloomy and grumbling face, how do you feel when you receive it? Indeed you will wonder and feel reluctant to accept it. It’s different if the person gives with a happy face and sweet words to you, surely you will also be happy to receive it.

Yes, just like when we sow for God. If we sow grumblingly, feeling compelled or sad, God’s heart will not be pleased with our gifts. This can make our sowing displeasing to God. But this also does not mean it is enough to offer God just a little so we can give willingly. No! It all depends on how our heart is in front of God. Remember that one may give without loving, but one cannot love without giving. The more we love someone, the more things we want to give to the person we love. So, if we love God, we want to give God the best.

Today, let us learn to sow with complete joy and a willing heart. Because only when we sow joyfully and willingly will our giving be pleasing to God. By pleasing God’s heart, God will indeed send down Favor, which will enlarge our lives because of His love for us. (TS)

REFLECTION

SOW only to PLEASE GOD.

APPLICATIONS

1. When you sow for God, how is your heart attitude?
2. When you sow for God, what is your goal?
3. How do you have a joyful heart when you sow for God?

TODAY’S PRAYER

“Lord, thank You for Your love and grace in our lives. Lord, teach us to sow only to please Your heart. Because everything we have is from You and to bring Your name to be glorified more and more. Forgive us if our heart attitude is still wrong when we sow for You. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we have prayed. Amen.”

A HEART THAT LOVES GOD WILL SURELY BE FILLED

JUNE 30, 2023 / DAY #5

TODAY’S RHEMA

Proverbs 23:26 My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.

A good father sets an excellent example for his son, like the story of a father who has the profession of a doctor. David, his son, was inspired by what his father did when his father helped sick people who couldn’t afford it. His father provides free medical treatment and always invites his son David to be able to help him on the field. Due to the close relationship between father and son, David also longs to be like his father one day. When David was an adult, he attended medical school and completed his education with honors.

As God’s children, when we have a heart that loves God, we will long to be close to God and continuously build an intimate personal relationship with God. We want to give our best time and our best priority to God. If we are currently in God’s process, even though it’s hard, we never stop remembering and being grateful for His past goodness. Have faith; if God helped us in the past, the same God will also help us today and tomorrow. God must magnify His goodness in our lives!

Therefore, let’s continue to be connected in God’s miraculous Rhema, delivered weekly in our church. Build an intimate fellowship with God, commit to worship God, and understand His heart through His word daily. Believe that what we need, even those that have never arisen in our hearts, God will surely provide in His miraculous way. (DFK)

REFLECTION

GIVE YOUR HEART to God by DRAWING CLOSE to God and BUILDING AN INTIMATE PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with the HOLY SPIRIT.

APPLICATIONS

1. Do you long to know God, the Savior of our lives, more deeply?
2. How do you build a closer relationship with the Holy Spirit?
3. What commitment would you take to continue to live in God?

TODAY’S PRAYER

“Dear Lord Jesus, thank You. You are so faithful to provide us with goodness for the goodness that never ends. Lord, please teach us always to be grateful and continue to build an intimate relationship with God every day in every breath we take. We believe that when an intimate relationship and a sincere, pure heart is attached to You, we can gain strength and victory after victory. Thank You, Lord, we receive it in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.”

RAIN OF FAVOR FOR THOSE WHO PLEASE GOD’S HEART

JUNE 29, 2023 / DAY #4

TODAY’S RHEMA

2 Samuel 7:15-16 But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you. And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.”

David always had a longing to please God. When he was still nothing, he loved to praise and worship God. He praised God 7 times a day. His longing to please God grew thicker when God made him king over all the Israelites. He built the Tabernacle of David, a worship center for God 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, non-stop.

What David did touch God’s heart, so God showered David with the rain of His extraordinary goodness. God enlarged, added to, and even multiplied David’s life. God’s Favor will also make all aspects of our life great! Our careers are getting bigger; our happiness is getting bigger. Our cell phones are getting bigger. Our ministry is getting bigger.

Have a heart that always longs to please God! Take a commitment from now on to build an intimate personal relationship with the Holy Spirit through praise, prayer, worship, meditating on God’s word, witnessing, saving souls for God, engaging in ministry, and glorifying God with everything in our lives! God’s goodness will fall on our lives, like God, who showered David with His favor. Our lives will go up, get bigger, and we will experience an extraordinary multiplication from God. (DCE)

REFLECTION

LONGING TO DO SOMETHING that TOUCHES GOD’S HEART will BRING GOD’S FAVOR into our lives.

APPLICATIONS

1. What goodness of God has happened in your life? Tell me about it!
2. How important is God’s favor in your life?
3. What commitment would you take to touch God’s heart?

TODAY’S PRAYER

“Father, thank you for Your Rhema today. Teach us always to have a longing to please Your heart so that Your favor descends upon our lives and our lives can be multiplied by You. We can bless others and glorify You more in our lives. In the Name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”

GOD’S FAVOR IS MORE THAN LIFE’S OBSTACLES

JUNE 28, 2023 / DAY #3

TODAY’S RHEMA

Psalm 103:2-3 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,

Many people in Tracey’s office didn’t like her because she didn’t want to be co-opted into cheating on her company’s books. Her co-workers think she is self-righteous, so she is ostracized and constantly verbally bullied. Fearing that one day, Tracey would report their actions. They conspired to find fault with her. They even deliberately framed her so that she would be found to have made a mistake and so that she could be expelled from the company. But God always spared the evil intention.

But it is undeniable, over time, Tracey felt depressed due to the treatment she had to receive every day in her office. Repeatedly even she wanted to resign from the company. However, whenever she wanted to leave the company, God always wanted her to survive. After struggling for so long, Tracey finally decided to obey God. One day, suddenly, a team of auditors from the head office came to her office and uncovered all the fraud that had been carried out by her co-workers so that many of them were expelled. But on the contrary, because Tracey was found to be the only member of the team who did not commit any acts of cheating at all, her boss gave her a promotion and also a salary increase.

Yes, God never promised us a problem-free life. God also never promised that we would not experience unfair treatment from those around us. However, He promises that even if challenges, problems, and even oppression occur in our lives, He is the living God who will always be with us and be with us. His favor is far greater than any distress we may or are currently experiencing. Humans can conjure evil for our lives, but God will continually pour His favor endlessly upon our lives.

REFLECTION

GOD’S FAVOR IS GREATER than all OBSTACLES, CHALLENGES, or OPPRESSION.

APPLICATIONS

1. Have you ever experienced bullying or experienced unfair treatment by the people around you?
2. In your opinion, why does God allow all obstacles and challenges in life to exist?
3. Tell us how God’s hand worked on your life when all these problems happened!

TODAY’S PRAYER

“O Lord, we know that You are always with us. We are no longer afraid of all life’s troubles, challenges, and struggles because we realize that Your favor is always there for us. We believe that You alone will lead us to a miraculous victory. Thank you for all our favors so far, O Father. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”

THE BLESSINGS OF MULTIPLICATION IN THE GOODNESS OF GOD

JUNE 27, 2023 / DAY #2

TODAY’S RHEMA

Exodus 1:7 But the children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly, multiplied and grew exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them.

Before entering the promised land, the Israelites had experienced oppression by the Egyptians. This was due to the enormous growth of the Israelites, which made Pharaoh and the Egyptians feel insecure. From an insignificant minority, starting with about 70 souls, they dominated Egypt. God blessed them in such a way, and the Bible records that the Israelites multiplied and multiplied tremendously! This growth doesn’t make sense because they not only multiply, they multiply tremendously! They transformed from a “big family” to a “big nation.” The growth of the Israelites was a threat to the Egyptians, so the Egyptians began to limit and suppress by oppressing the Israelites.

But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and grew so that people feared the Israelites. “The more it is cleared, the more it spreads”; that’s what happened. This is a form of divine intervention. This is what is called enlarged by favor! It is only because of God’s favor, goodness, help, and intervention that this multiplication and growth that doesn’t make sense can happen.

Likewise, in our life, only all that is good from God will be multiplied, enlarged, multiplied, multiplied. From now on, your peace is enlarged, your joy is multiplied, the strength to face the repeated attacks abounds, and God’s anointing is increased. Even though there are challenges and obstacles, God’s favor is far greater than any of your circumstances. May God’s favor be revealed, bringing about incredible growth and multiplication. (KRD)

REFLECTION

GOD’S GOODNESS will BRING THE BLESSINGS OF MULTIPLICATION into our lives.

APPLICATIONS

1. What is God’s goodness that you are looking forward to happening in your life?
2. How has the blessing of multiplication happened in your life?
3. What commitment must you have so that the blessing of multiplication continues in all aspects of your life?

TODAY’S PRAYER

“Lord Jesus, thank You because You have revealed Your goodness which continues to happen every moment, even in every breath we take. Thank you for the multiplication blessings that occur in all aspects of our lives. Teach us to obey and have a heart always to please You. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we have prayed. Amen.”

BE GREAT BECAUSE OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD

JUNE 26, 2023 / DAY #1

TODAY’S RHEMA

2 Samuel 22:36 “You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your gentleness has made me great.

Before becoming the king of Israel, David was just a keeper of flocks who spent most of his time in the pastures. Even when God told Samuel to anoint one of Jesse’s sons, David’s father only presented David’s older brothers, who looked proper to be kings. However, what God sees is very different from what humans see. When David was called and came, God spoke to Samuel and told him to anoint David as king. This greatly surprised David’s brothers and father. For them, David did not count as a candidate for king. He was the youngest of Jesse’s sons and considered inadequate to become a future king because he only tended the goats and sheep in the pastures daily.

David was well aware that he was nothing without the goodness of God. He was unknown to people; even after defeating the giant Goliath, the Israelites questioned, “Who is this young man.” Only because of God’s goodness, David’s life shone and was used by God to become someone through whose offspring the Savior of the World, Jesus Christ, was born.

Now, you are not famous, have no power, or have nothing to be proud of. You feel that the people around you are better than you; their achievements are more than yours. Today’s Rhema reminds us that God’s goodness can make us “great “. We need to believe and, by faith, receive God’s goodness in our lives. (AM)

REFLECTION

GOD’S GOODNESS makes OUR LIFE GREAT.

APPLICATIONS

1. Do you currently feel that other people are more than you are?
2. What can make your life shine like David’s?
3. What should you do when you get God’s goodness?

TODAY’S PRAYER

“Father, thank you for today’s Rhema. We believe and believe that Your goodness can make us great. The Holy Spirit helps us always to be able to feel and be grateful for God’s goodness in our lives. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray, Amen.”

FOLLOW JESUS FULLY

JUNE 25, 2023 / DAY 7#

TODAY’S PRAYER

Matthew 19:21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.

Apostle Paul had a difficult journey while preaching the gospel. He was influential, respected, and feared, but his life did not please God. Then God came to him and sent him to preach the gospel, and his life became an extraordinary instrument of God. He gave up his old life, power, and popularity and followed the Lord Jesus. In Paul’s journey to preach the gospel, he experienced rejection, was tortured, imprisoned, almost drowned in the middle of the sea, and even stoned. But amazingly, Paul refused to give up his calling to the Lord. He received such a fantastic grace to go through everything.

Reaching perfection is never an easy journey, but the results are guaranteed excellent. Indeed, God wants us to reach the perfection of faith to obtain His extraordinary favor. We must endure various faith tests to be perfected and deserve the favor. It will not be easy, and many things will go against our flesh. As His Word says, the spirit is obedient, but the flesh is weak. For that, we need His great grace.

Let us emulate Paul’s actions, where he left all wickedness to draw closer to God and serve Him. Let us abandon the sins that shackle us. Also, pray daily for the grace and strength to follow Jesus fully. When we leave everything behind 100%, we can focus on serving God and reach the perfection of faith and gain God’s fantastic favor, and His promises will be fulfilled in our lives with certainty!

REFLECTION

Ask for God’s grace to pursue the LEVEL OF PERFECTION, renounce everything and follow Jesus.

APPLICATIONS

1. Does the bondage of sin still bind you?
2. Have you accepted Jesus the Lord as your Savior?
3. Are you 100% committed to following Jesus?

TODAY’S PRAYER

“Thank You, Lord, for showing us how to attain pleasing perfection before You. Grant us Your grace to pass every test of You and be worthy of Your great Favor. Guide our way of life, Lord, that we may live a life pleasing to You. In the Name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”

FAVOR GROWS WITH DEEPER KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

JUNE 24, 2023 / DAY 6#

TODAY’S RHEMA

2 Peter 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

When a seed is planted to grow into a good and sturdy plant, it will first grow roots. Once the roots grow and are strong enough, the shoots grow upwards. Not only does the plant focus on growing upwards, but it will strengthen the roots as the primary support for growth.

What would happen to suppose a plant chose to grow shoots first and then roots? The plant will surely collapse, unable to stand, and will not become a good and sturdy plant or tree. This is similar to our life in following Jesus. When we expect God’s favor to increase in our lives, there are phases to go through.

Start praying, reading the word, diligently praising and worshipping God, fasting, serving, and doing everything to increase our knowledge of God. With a more robust understanding of God, our faith and life will grow so that God’s favor will also increase in our lives. Our church has a Spiritual Journey Scheme to follow to have us embedded, grow, and overflow with God’s favor. (TS)

REFLECTION

Follow every STAGE IN FOLLOWING JESUS and continue to grow, then GOD’S FAVOR WILL CONTINUE TO GROW in our lives.

APPLICATIONS

1. How big is God’s favor in your life right now? Could it be more powerful than now?
2. How do you obtain God’s favor that grows over time?
3. Have you committed to having a more profound knowledge of God? If so, how do you keep your commitment?

TODAY’S PRAYER

“Lord, thank you for Your love and grace in our lives. Lead us with Your Holy Spirit even more, Lord, that we may know You deeper. Help us to do what You want us to do, and let Your favor pour out over our lives more and more. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”

HAVE A TRUE REVELATION OF GOD

JUNE 23, 2023 / DAY 5#

TODAY’S RHEMA

Psalm 86:11 Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.

David is the author of most chapters in the book of Psalms. He wrote 73 out of 150 Psalms. Besides praising God with all his heart, David was known as a king who loved building an intimate relationship with God. When he faced difficult choices, he came to God, asking Him for His way so that he could live in God’s righteousness. Not only did David plead, but he also lived in the fear of the Lord. From his life story, David had always experienced special favor or extraordinary goodness from God because he knew who the God he worshipped was.

Through Psalm 86 by David, we learn that living in fear of God will allow us to experience God’s special favor. When in difficult choices, we can always turn to God. Regardless of the time, God is ready to guide and help our lives. The good news is that God loves us all. The Lord Jesus was willing to lay down His life on the cross to give special favors to His children.

Therefore, from now on, let us revive the Holy Spirit who lives in our lives and grow in the true revelation of God. Believe that our God is a God of love who cares for His children. He is a God who plans everything well for our lives. We will have beautiful days with Jesus. Hallelujah. The Lord Jesus blesses us. (DFK)

REFLECTION

The REVELATION of God that we understand DETERMINES His actions in our lives.

APPLICATIONS

1. Do you already have the proper revelation of God?
2. What kind of revelation do you have?
3. What commitments are you making to grow in true revelation?

TODAY’S PRAYER

“Lord Jesus, thank You for Your special favor. We desire a true revelation of You because we believe You always reveal and provide extraordinary goodness in our lives. Lord, help us live and grow in true revelation in You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Hallelujah. Amen.”

SPECIAL FAVOR GRANTs SPECIAL EXEMPTION

JUNE 22, 2023 / DAY 4#

TODAY’S RHEMA

Exodus 8:22 And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, in order that you may know that I am the Lord in the midst of the land.

In Noah’s time, humankind lived wickedly, so God intended to end the lives of all living creatures on earth by sending a great flood. However, since God found that Noah’s life was righteous and blameless before Him, Noah and his family were saved from the flood. Noah received an exemption, grace, and special favor from God.

All great people, rich people, officials, and leaders at that time were destroyed and vanished. But Noah survived. God preserved and saved him because of a special favor that brought a special exemption. Just like Noah, we will be exempted when we receive a special favor from God.

For that reason, let us catch this revelation from God, and the special favor from God in a new dimension will be manifested in our lives. When others fail, we succeed! When others are laid off, we are promoted! When others fall, we leap! When others collapse, we get stronger! Even when others starve in the season of shortage, we are blessed with abundance and be a blessing to God’s work and others. (DCE)

REFLECTION

Special favor brings special EXEMPTION.

APPLICATIONS

1. Do you believe that special favors can result in special exemption?
2. Why do you think it is?
3. What are your commitments to receive more and more of God’s favor?

TODAY’S PRAYER

“Lord Jesus, thank You for this morning’s devotional that prepared us to receive a special favor from You. We believe that Your favor brings success and prosperity to our lives and church so that we can be a blessing to others and many souls will be saved. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen. “
