Dare to Take Prophetic Steps (Noon)

James 2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

The Brooklyn Bridge, which connects Brooklyn with the island of Manhattan, is one of the most famous bridges in the world. When the idea for the bridge first appeared in 1883, bridge experts around the world told its designer, John Roebling, that the idea would not work. Roebling convinced his son, Washington who is also an engineer. They both took bold steps to realize the bridge and enthusiastically started the work. Just a few months after construction being done, a tragic accident occurred. John Roebling died and Washington was so badly injured that he could not speak or walk. Everyone thought the project would be abandoned and stopped. But an overwhelming passion made Washington come back and complete the gigantic project. 13 years since its inception, the bridge was completed.

Great visions are often the subject of ridicule and ridicule to those who hear them. When Ps. Obaja got a vision from God to build a church building with a capacity of 5000 seats in the middle of Solo city, he also got a lot of ridicule. But Ps. Obadiah strongly believed in God and began to take prophetic steps. He conveyed God’s vision and imparted it to the congregation. Forming a development committee, making financial plans, and everything. Everything is done full of faith, considering the available funds are only 4 billion while the required budget is 40 billion. But the power of God works miraculously. Miracle after miracle happened. Together with God’s congregation, the new church building which eventually required 70 billion, was completed.

If all this time we feel that we have not enjoyed the blessings and miracles that God has promised, maybe it is because we have not responded to God’s rhema by taking prophetic steps. Today we learn that it takes prophetic steps and concrete actions so that God’s promises are fulfilled. Declare that our sicknesses have been healed by God as we live a good lifestyle and diet. Then Divine Healing is ours. Say that a Great Miracle is bound to happen, and begin to step forward to do the best in our work. Then the big breakthrough will be ours.

1. What do you need in addition to making your eyes see as far and wide as possible?
2. Have you taken a prophetic step on the promise God has given you? If not, what are your reasons?
3. Think about it, what are the prophetic steps that you should and can do?

“Father, we thank you for your every promise to us. Help us to start walking in faith and take concrete actions to realize Your promises. We believe, when we dare to take a step, then everything you have promised will be ours. Thank you, Father. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
