Do Not Limit God’s Power (Noon)

1 Corinthians 1:18-31

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

Pastor Benitez, a native of Mexico, contracted polio when he was 2 years old and has never been able to walk. But the pastor did not allow his disability to stop him from answering the call of God on his life. Benitez has repeatedly risked his life over the years to make a six-hour trek up the mountains to the village of La Laguna to witness the indigenous people who live there.

He then decided to host a project that would allow everyone around the world to take part in evangelistic missions by filling a box with toys, school supplies, personal items, and other gifts, accompanied by a small book of Bible stories. These boxes were then shipped to more than 160 countries, including 50 remote areas such as La Laguna. And as a result, more than 100 La Laguna children, whom he fought for, accepted the Lord Jesus as their Savior. These children later became little evangelists for their families.

Often we limit God’s power to use our lives with our limitations. We forget that He can use anything and anyone to fulfill His will and plans. In Numbers 22:28, God opened the mouth of the donkey to rebuke and remind the prophet Balaam who wanted to curse the Israelites. Donkey is a tame animal but is not smart, but in this incident, Balaam’s donkey showed intelligence because of God’s power. So don’t ever think that God can’t use our lives because the world thinks we are stupid and weak. We are God’s chosen people to accept and live the apostolic mission. Do not ever give up with circumstances, but receive complete healing and rise forward to save souls in God. Jesus bless you.

NEVER LIMIT God’s power to USE our LIFE with our limitations.

1. What has restricted you from accepting a mission from God?
2. Can you believe that God is more than your limitations?
3. What is your commitment to no longer limit God’s power to use you?

“Father, thank you for reminding us not to limit Your power in our lives. Yes, we are limited, but You who live in me are limitless. This is our life, Father, use it according to Your plan. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
