Encourage Yourself to Have Great Visions (Morning)

TODAY’S FOOD FOR THE SOUL

Psalms 108:1-14

TODAY’S RHEMA

Psalm 108:13 By God’s power we will conquer; he will trample down our enemies.

At some ordinary school, a literature teacher asks her students about their dreams. One said: I want to be a doctor. I want to be a teacher. I want to be a successful businessman. I want to be a famous cook(he means chef). The teacher asks the last students, Zoey. “Zoey, what is your dream?” After thinking it thoroughly she answers, “I want to buy an airplane and then invites all of you to have a vacation on a Greek island” A silence dropped then all of her friends laughed at Zoey’s answer. ” It’s impossible”. When the school enters a long holiday session, Zoey’s classmates’ feet touched the Heraklion International Airport ground. Zoey’s father, a technology magnate, was moved by his daughter’s vision and dream. Because he didn’t have an airplane then, he bought one as a gift to Zoey and painted her name on the airplane’s body then rent the whole island for a week to make her daughter’s dream a reality.

An ability to have great vision and do impossible feats are reserved only for the believers. John 14:12 tells us John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. There’s a lot we can learn from Zoey. An elementary schooler, no visible income, has no jobs, but dare to have a grand vision. She dares to dream because she knows, her father could make it possible.

Another example to persuade you perhaps? Let’s try Gideon. The angel of the LORD declared to Gideon “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior!” what was his response? Unworthy, insignificant. This ‘unworthy’ warrior could defeat thousands of Midianites with 300 hundred men. We have a Great LORD and He will enable us to do great things. Dare to dream, prepare yourself. His light is approaching.
