God is The True Helper (Evening)

Isaiah 40:25-26 “To whom then will you liken Me, Or to whom shall I be equal?” says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not one is missing.

After defeating AC Milan in the European league, Manchester United got a new sponsor replacing Chevrolet in their jersey next season and receive 4 trillion rupiahs. Manchester United was also looking for sponsors to build a Carrington training facility and to support the club’s needs. Support from a sponsor is crucial, especially for a world-class club as Manchester United. With a considerable amount of funds, the management will have enough room to operate, hence elevate their accomplishment.

Only great football clubs attract strong sponsors. On the other hand, strong sponsors only willing to support great football clubs. This is how the world works. God, however, works differently. David was firm that he had a superb supporter ready to help every time. When he faced Goliath, David said, “I come to you in the name of the God of the universe”. As a result, the Kingdom of Heaven stepped in. Goliath was easily beaten. David knew that God is his only help. The supporter that always available. Therefore, no one could beat David. Even in his old days, David was still productive and used by God remarkably.

We, as the children of God, are lucky to have such a humble Supporter. He doesn’t see age, wealth, or even accomplishment. He will always ready to help every time we need him to be our support. When we take God as our only help, the whole unlimited Kingdom of Heaven will be there for us. Magical supports will be evident in everyone who counts on Him.

Make GOD the SOURCE OF HELP, and the whole UNLIMITED KINGDOM OF HEAVEN will be there TO SUPPORT our life.

1. Who is your source of help? If they are fellow humans, name them?
2. What are the constraints relying on other people?
3. What is your experience being helped by the unlimited support of the Kingdom of Heaven, when you rely on God as your source of help?

“Our Father, we thank You for you are so good to us. You despise no one who comes for your help. Be our only support and help, Father. We will never be disappointed counting on You. In the name of Jesu, we pray. Amen.”
