FOOD FOR THE SOUL

Isaiah 55:1-13

RHEMA

Isaiah 55:9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Using the name of the host, “The Oprah Winfrey Show” is the longest-running and most successful talk show in the United States. In 25 years of hosting the show, Oprah Winfrey has become one of the richest women in the United States. Yet, Oprah’s past life was very dark. At the age of 9, she was raped. At the age of 14, she gave birth to a child, who died two weeks later. The beginning of her career did not go smoothly. She was once fired from a TV station because she was considered fat for the screen.

However, her broken past did not make her “stop” to achieve his dreams Her father was a former soldier. By the teaching of her father, she became a smart, assertive, and confident figure. Her soul was restored and now she is the host of a talk show “The Oprah Winfrey Show” which earned the highest rating in the history of US television. Through this program, Oprah channels her human spirit to people in need. Countless people have been given “surprises” and help from Oprah and her talk shows.

Maybe some of us have had the same bitter moments in your life as Oprah did in the past. Living like a leaky tire. Pumped up now, but it’s deflated again tomorrow. Then you need to pump up again but then deflate again. A tire like this couldn’t possibly go very far. Such is a life that continues to experience leaks due to an unrestored soul, and God cannot carry it far to victory. That’s why we need to open our hearts to God and study His Word. Maybe you have been disappointed by those closest to you, you are hurt and your life is destroyed by them. But LOOK AT THE RESPONSE OF GOD IN RESTORING YOUR HEART AND YOURSELF. The Lord who dwells in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones. (Isaiah 57:15). The past is past and dead unless you are still trying to bring it to life. Today, don’t relive your bad and broken past. Look at the future! Open your heart and allow the Healer of Everything to sweeten your life that is already bitter.
