God’s Glory is Emanated from a Strong Heart and Faith (Noon)

Romans 4:1-25

Romans 4:20-21 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

Lucky intended to continue the construction of his house that had been discontinued a few years ago. He started to redesign and recalculate it. Then, he showed it to his wife and gained her approval. With a loan from the bank combined with savings, they hoped the construction could run smoothly and they could start moving in promptly. However, due to Lucky’s complex demand, the material cost surged. Consequently, the fund, which was supposed to be sufficient, became inadequate.

His wife then started to have doubt, whether the construction could still be continued. Moreover, due to the pandemic, her husband’s printing business was not as busy as it used to be. However, Lucky kept strengthening his wife’s heart. He said God would provide for their needs. Although it seemed impossible, Lucky encouraged his wife to pray together and put their hope in God. Afterward, God blessed his printing business and a few months later, they finally managed to finish their long-awaited house.

We also sometimes face what Lucky has gone through. Problems keep coming up in our lives in this pandemic. Our situations, which may become worse over time and seemingly have no way out or solutions, make us want to give up. Nonetheless, we need to realize that during this hardship and chaotic situation, we need to strengthen our hearts and faith even more. Put your trust in the Lord, and He will help us and be for us. The requirement is to have a strong heart and faith in Him. The stronger our heart and faith become, the stronger God’s glory will be emanated. We will experience the end of year glory that is brighter than ever before.

The stronger our heart and faith become, the stronger God’s glory will be emanated

1. What is the condition of your heart and faith right now?
2. Why do you need to strengthen your heart and faith in the current situation?
3. What will you do to strengthen your heart and faith in God?

“Lord Jesus, please give is stronger heart and faith, so that we can pass through our current situation with You. We believe You will reveal Your brighter glory at the end of this year. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
