Have a Pure Heart (Evening)

RHEMA

Job 23:10 But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

Born and raised in a devout family, Daisy was taught about Christ from an early age. Her father and mother taught Daisy in fear and love of God. Their family was full of happiness, till one day, her father fell ill and eventually, he passed away. Her life was changed 180 degrees. As a housewife, her mother didn’t work, and they couldn’t afford the living costs and school fees. She became very disappointed in God. She stopped praying and coming to the church anymore. She got angry when she hears her mother saying that God is good.

But her mother was not discouraged, even though she was confused and didn’t know what to do. She relied on God and prayed for her daughter every day. Hope in God never disappoints. The headmaster of the school knew about their difficulties. So he offered Daisy’s mother to manage one of the school canteens. Daisy then received a scholarship and if she excelled, Daisy will be exempted from school fees.

Our hearts were purified when we first received God and encountered Him personally. But as time goes by, many problems come into our lives. If we are not vigilant and guard our heart, that purity can fade and even disappear. The disappointment, sadness, or anger that we experience is often more powerful than the voice of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. As a result, we deny every word of the Holy Spirit and reject a pure conscience so that our faith runs aground. Believe that the Holy Spirit is such a pure Spirit, He has no evil planned for us. We need to have a pure heart, a heart that easily believes in the Holy Spirit, a heart that is easy to surrender, that does not stray, and a heart that is not disappointed with God. Let us say like Job “When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.” So like gold which is usually used for king’s furniture, we who have pure hearts will become the favorite of the King above all kings.
