Have Great Vision from The Holy Spirit (Morning)

Isaiah 49:6 he says, “Is it too insignificant a task for you to be my servant, to reestablish the tribes of Jacob, and restore the remnant of Israel? I will make you a light to the nations, so you can bring my deliverance to the remote regions of the earth.”

For this day, let’s imagine yourself being a wealthy conglomerate. You have multinational companies and live up your life well. Then, one of your children come to you and said without hesitation: I want to be better than you! I want to be more successful than you! I want to have a company that could go international. As a parent, can you deny them their destiny? Deep inside, there must be a spark of pride and joy. Your own flesh and blood, you raise them when they were still infants and now they want to stand up for themselves. Above all else, they believe that you, as their parent, would gladly support them.

As parents, you certainly want your children’s lives to be better than you. To let them have a happy and prosperous life. Unfortunately, many of us, children of God, have ordinary lives. A life without great vision and goals. We are hesitant because we think and convince ourselves: it’s impossible, let’s have an ordinary one. It’s an insult. We unconsciously, belittle our capabilities and His unlimited power, simultaneously.

It’s still January, you could still pursue His vision and make it yours. He has the power and resources to make your life better. Do not waste His resources, although it’s unlimited. Make Him proud because of your achievements and successful life. He, our Heavenly Father, wants us to be successful, prosperous and blessings for nations. As His children, we must make Him proud.

1. What vision does the Holy Spirit give you at the beginning of this year?
2. Do you believe you can fulfill His vision? Why do you think so?
3. Can you please write down your concrete steps and plans to make that vision reality?

“O good Father, we want to be grateful more and more. Especially because we have You as our Almighty and omnipotent LORD. You have a great vision for our lives and now it’s our turn to make Your vision our vision. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.”
