His Resurrection Power Is Flowing in and Happening (Morning)

TODAY’S RHEMA

Philippians 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Richard was waiting for this day his entire week. He wanted to know whether or not his proposal is approved. He wanted to do many things if his proposal is approved. He prepared himself to make it flawless. But he cannot hear his name being called. He must accept it: they didn’t approve his proposal. He walked on his way home unenthusiastically. He was ashamed of himself and blamed everything and everyone. His friends knew how he did his proposal until late at night. How he enthusiastically told them his dreams and plans if his proposal were approved. He lost his hope. Locked himself away from the rest of the world, didn’t care about anything else. Slipped into depression.

Some months later, a concerned friend offered him a small stall to tend to. Urged by his loving family and friends he complied. In that stall when there are no buyers he could study Bible and listen to recorded sermons. He also bought few Christian books to accompany him. From just a small habit to spend his time, his faith is improved. He no longer wants to mourn over his previous failure. He wants to try something new with God. When he finally opens up his heart, God pours his blessings: unexpected orders become a usual thing. Many people want to supply his small stall with their goods. God changes his life.

Sometimes we cannot fully comprehend how our lives are running. We pray to ask for a clue or advice. When bad things happen we increase our frequency and intensity of complaints. But today’s rhema reminds us of His triumph over death. He gives us an example of how to emerge victorious from our smaller “death”. Doesn’t matter if it were your business, marriage, health issues, or failures. His empty tomb revealed and solid proof that His triumphant over death. Now, He wants to visit each of our “graves”, to resurrect dying hope and gives us new life. A life where death cannot lay its fingers on us.
