Move Faster with God’s Power (Evening)

Psalm 18:37-38 37 I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed. 38 I have wounded them, So that they could not rise; They have fallen under my feet.

A poor Negro woman lived in a slum in metropolitan New York. She is now the CEO of a world-class company with an asset value of $ 21 billion. Ursula M. Burns, born in 1958, was well aware of her situation. When she was a child, she dreamed of becoming a nurse or teacher. But Olga, her mother, an African, wanted Burns to be successful and free from poverty. She always encouraged her daughter to study hard, be good people and be successful. Her mother’s love, motivation, and encouragement gave Burns the strength to become a star at every level of school. When she grew up, Xerox was interested and made him a CEO in 2009. Her career continued to increase. In 2014, Forbes Magazine ranked Burns in the 22nd most influential women in the world. She remembered what her mother once said, “This is not my destination when I’m in a bad state.”

In the time of Moses, the Israelites were helpless and weak. They became the slaves of the Egyptians. But God had a different plan. God wanted them to be free from the grip of the Egyptians and to inhabit the Promised Land. God’s love and care became a New Power for them to escape from the slavery of Egypt as an independent nation, and even became a nation feared by other nations.

Each of us must have a past that often prevents us from becoming successful and great people. But our Lord never changes. God has appointed us as the Chosen Nation, the Heirs who rule the earth and everything in it. If we’re in a bad state right now, it’s not who we are. Because our real place is a life full of blessings and days full of victory. Today we have to introspect, have we made God’s love a new strength to win over every problem? We have the Holy Spirit who gives us new strength every day, leads our every step and He is a true Helper in every distress. There is no more excuse for us not to move forward faster to receive God’s promise in Isaiah 60.

There is a NEW STRENGTH that God gives us so that we can MOVE FASTER.

1. What does God want you to do?
2. What has God provided for you to move faster?
3. How will you make God’s grace so that you can progress even faster?

“Father, thank you for Your grace. There is always new strength from You. Guide us to take steps so that we can move even faster towards the fulfillment of Your plan for our lives. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
