Out of The Darkness, Comes Light (Morning)
TODAY’S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Isaiah 60:15 “Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, So that no one went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, A joy of many generations.
We all have background stories. A unique past. Our past may be good or bad. Sometimes it left a permanent scar on our personality. It made us afraid, traumatized, or distrustful. Psychology calls this behavior: PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
When a meaningful person disappeared in their lives, they would find a gapping hollow inside their hearts. They would often do silly or meaningless things to make another stay with them. Another living their lives with hatred and disgrace would do quite the contrary, they behaved more erratically, rebellious, annoying, or more seclusive. These apathetic behaviors are a facade to conceal their true feelings, feelings of abandonment, and worthlessness.
Whatever happened in your past, there’s no way you could change it. But you may be allowed to regret them or ashamed but it’s already spoiled. As human beings, God gives us the wisdom to learn and not to repeat them. Our shameful past experiences could be our stepping stones. “Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, So that no one went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, A joy of many generations.”
From our dark past, He will turn our future into a brighter one. Surrender yourself to Him our past included. His mighty hands will reshape it and from it, a brighter future will emerge. He will heal, restore, and change us thoroughly.
From your dark past, A BRIGHTER FUTURE will come.
1. Is there something shackled you now from your past?
2. Can you explain why did your past greatly affect your current life?
3. Tell us your commitments when God finally change your past into a brighter future.
“Jesus, You are never bothered my past life. You accept us as I am. I want to follow Your lead until my time in this world is up and beyond. Shape my future and hearts to be able to fulfill tasks given to me and glorify Your Name even more. In the name of Jesus Chris, I pray. Amen.”
