Peace Overflowing (Noon)

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.

Once, Jesus told the parable of the wise and the foolish builders. The wise are those who make decisions based on His word. They build on the rock. When the flood comes, it doesn’t fall. On the other hand, the people who build houses on the sand are those who make decisions based on momentary emotions. When the rain descended and the flood came, the house fell and great was its fall (Matthew 7: 24-27). That is why we have to be very careful when making decisions in life. It is very dangerous if we make a decision when our emotions are turbulent because surely, we will make an unwise decision, which will remove the peace in our lives.

Our pastor never always reminds us to go to the Upper Room and build an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. Through quiet time and meditating on God’s Word, our hearts and faith will be built stronger. We know there are times when we are trapped in a situation where we are required to make decisions quickly, even though our hearts are emotional. If so, our relationship with the Holy Spirit and knowledge of God’s Word will save us. The Holy Spirit will calm us and give revelation of God’s word so that we can make correct and wise decisions based on His words.

Even though the wise decisions we make do not please all parties, believe me, our decisions cannot be wrong if we include God and make Him the basis of our every decision. We don’t need to be swayed by what people say but trust God’s words. Peace from God will continue to flow consistently, every day of our life, because we know we have made the right decisions in God’s eyes.

THE PEACE of God will CONTINUE to FLOW consistently every day in our life.

1. Have you ever made a decision that cost you peace? What is it about?
2. What makes you peaceful when making a decision?
3. How can you always make wise decisions that will consistently bring peace to your life?

“Holy Spirit, reveal to of us the rhema we have to do in every decision-making process every day. We believe that divine peace will always flow in our hearts as we walk in Your guidance. Thank you, Holy Spirit. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.”
