Prepare for Spiritual Purification (Morning)

TODAY’S RHEMA

Isaiah 18:5 For before the harvest, when the bud is perfect And the sour grape is ripening in the flower, He will both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks And take away and cut down the branches.

In recent times many of us endure hardships, especially Joy. She was born in a modest family but by God’s grace her family experience uncountable miracles and blessings. She has a faithful and successful husband. She has a car, some land properties, savings, deposits, and stocks. Her spiritual life is also healthy. She attends church every Sunday afternoon together with her husband and two children. But no one could predict disaster. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, her husband’s projects weren’t so successful. Their bills are surmounting. They have to pay their employees wages, monthly payments, their two children’s school fees, and some credits besides basic household items.

Because of this, Joy decided with her husband to sell their only car, some of their properties, and stocks in the stock market. Her husband was a bit depressed by his failure as father and husband. But Joy didn’t. She reminds her husband to always believe in God. Intensify their prayers and rebuild their abandoned altar. Although she can’t see His help yet, she firmly believes God will always help her family.

Many Christians aren’t prepared enough if disasters or calamity struck their lives. We cannot simply leave our comfort zone and be distressed when God allows hardships to come into our lives. For those with adequate knowledge, it is time for God to purify our lives. Because only plowed land could be planted. If that happens, just let it flow. Enjoy the process, even though it’s difficult and hopeless and painful. Prepare yourself, because you’ll never know when He is going to purify your life.
