PROPHETIC WINDS DECLARING GOD’S DEFENSE [MORNING]

TODAY’S FOOD FOR THE SOUL

Deuteronomy 6:17-25

TODAYS RHEMA

Deuteronomy 6:22 and the LORD showed signs and wonders before our eyes, great and severe, against Egypt, Pharaoh, and all his household.

For generations, Israelites were enslaved. They were in deep suffering and persecution. Let alone to pray, they even did not have enough time to rest. Seeing this, God finally took action. He chose Moses as His vice and prophet. Moses was tasked by God to deliver the Israelites from Pharaoh’s grip. But because of Pharaoh’s stubbornness, God has no choice but to send Ten Plagues.

God becomes the Israelites advocate and prosecutor. Exodus 10:13-14, explains intricately how God sent upon Israelites’ for His army. By the aide from East Winds, He sent swarms of locust upon the land of Egypt. For some people, East Winds could become a catastrophe. On the other hand, Israelites felt the opposite: it was time for them to flee from Egypt. Flee from their oppressors. It’s a solid proof of how God defends His chosen.

Problems, hardships, and struggles are always there. Especially since pandemic hits us hard anxieties, depression, fears, worries, and even hopelessness are no longer lurking behind the shadows, it’s already in front of us. Countless people give up their hope. But as Christian, we have God Almighty. His East Winds would not bring destruction, but only salvation. We could experience spectacular and awe-inspiring events in our lives. Through that and only through that, we could be His instrument of glory.
