Put The Holy Spirit Our Top Priority (Morning)

John 6:63 The Spirit is the one who gives life; human nature is of no help! The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.

Your motorized vehicles wouldn’t go an extra mile if you don’t give them fuels. Your smartphones, tablets, TVs, home theater, refrigerators, or washing machines couldn’t work properly if you cut them off from external power sources. It applies to our lives as well. If you want a happy, prosperous and blessed life but you don’t let Holy Spirit intervenes and guide you, you’ll go nowhere. He is your true source of power. His presence empowers you and makes you able to conquer the day.

What do you depend on in this world? Your wealth? Power? Position? Connections? How powerful you are when you were lying in your bed, devastated with sickness and malady? How wealthy you could feel when all you can bring in your coffin is just a suit (or dress) and a bucket of flowers. How your position could grant you inner peace when you feel nothing six feet under?

Today He reminds us, the spirit is the one that gives life. Flesh or in this case, human nature, is no good. With a perfect connection, we could strengthen our bond with the Holy Spirit. Fall in love with Him. Prioritize Him.

Make sure you put THE HOLY SPIRIT as your top priority.

1. Have you made the Holy Spirit your sole purpose in your life? Why do you do so?
2. In your opinion, why making the Holy Spirit the most important thing in your life is so important?
3. What will you do to apply today’s rhema in your daily life?

“Jesus Christ, we are grateful because You give us Holy Spirit, to guide and help us. We believe we won’t get astray and lost our way if we follow Him. Teach us to prioritize Him even more. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.”
