GOD’S STRETCHED HANDS HELPING YOU OVERCOMING PROBLEM
TODAY’S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Isaiah 38:17a Indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness;
Floating in the middle of the ocean in a small inflatable boat is not a good experience. An old man hopes that another ship will pass and save him. Indeed, two large ships are passing by, but not one of them noticed his existence and just walks away. Day by day, this old man is getting weak and desperate. He even accidentally burns the rubber boat where he was the only one he could survive. Losing hope, he allows himself to sink under the sea. However, suddenly a hand reaches into the water. The old man swims up and welcomes the helping hand. The huge flames from his rubber boat have caught the attention of people on board passing by in the distance, saving him.
When a wave of problems surrounds us, it has become our basic instinct to survive by relying on our strength and reason. After that, we will start trying to find other people’s help. Not infrequently, we also find that no one can or wants to help us. However, like the story above, often when we experience a big crisis and lose all our grip, and don’t know what else to do, God’s help comes.
It’s not that God doesn’t care about us. He cares about the goodness of His children. Because of His great love for us, He wants us to learn that God is the only one we can hope for and rely on. When we realize it and want to surrender completely to Him, God will blow the prophetic winds of His Holy Spirit to save us. He will anoint us so that we can overcome all problems with His strength and wisdom. He will send people who will stretch out their hands so that through them and with them, the whole plan of God is fulfilled.
God NEVER lets you DROWN in trouble, He will immediately STRETCH HIS HAND and RISE you up again.
1. What problems are you experiencing right now?
2. Why will God never let us sink into problems?
3. How will you address your problem from now on?
“Dear Father, thank you that You never leave me. You are always there to stretch out Your hand in time, so that I may gain salvation and deliverance. Let it be through y life that everyone may see, not because of me, not because of others, but because of Your deeds, I may get all that You have promised. In the name of the Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen.”
