Remain Peaceful in Any Situation (Morning)

TODAY’S RHEMA

Habakkuk 3:17-18 Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls––Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

After the Covid-19 pandemic could finally be under control, we as Christians have something more to struggle with: the financial crisis. If we do not put in extra effort, our hopes and peace could be snatched away from us. The devil would make us easily anxious about everything: works, family, health, and church. But today, prophet Habakkuk told us what er must do, if things turn sour. How our hearts must respond.

We could see prophet Habakkuk’s saying manifested in our pastor’s life, Ps Obaja Tanto Setiawan. Before this pandemic struck our country, almost every month he preached elsewhere, neighboring cities, districts, province, or even went abroad. He did all of those with the same spirit as his younger days. Tirelessly and devoutly serves God. But it all must be halted after Covid-19 spread.

He still serving God but with a suitable twist. He becomes blessed from his home in Solo. His passion, spirit, and devotion are still the same if not greater than before. He knows, from his home, he could reach even more people, save even more souls. He keeps his heart joyful, enjoys his activities even though the world is still in crisis.

It’s not such a coincidence if today’s rhema strengthens our spirit, our hopes. He owns our lives, our lives are save at His mighty hands. He would guarantee our safe passage across this dark world. He would make sure we have peace of mind and heart. To make this happen, catch every rhema, let it sink, and contemplate it daily. Then walk by faith, He is always by your side.
