Restored Relationship (Noon)

John 14:15-31

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Joseph, Mary’s fiancé felt suspicious, jealous, and hurt because he thought he had been cheated on and betrayed when he found out that Mary was pregnant. Yet it was clear that Joseph had never touched her, the one he loved so much. No wonder then that Joseph intended to leave Mary in secret. But God knew Joseph’s plan and sent His angel to appear to Joseph in a dream. The angel forbade Joseph to leave Mary because the child in her womb was from the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20). Joseph also canceled his intention, his trust in Maria was restored. Even the unity of their hearts became even more solid.

God did not remain silent on their obedience. When Mary and Joseph were tired and lonely on their way, God led the shepherds to meet and comfort them in togetherness. Yes, God always wants His children to live in unity and togetherness. God dislikes division because He has a plan and a big mandate that God wants us to do. Like the Magi from the East who traveled very far and full of challenges, we too may encounter many challenges in our long journey towards the fulfillment of God’s promises.

For that, we need solid unity and the same vision so if someone is tired on the way, we can help each other, strengthen and support each other. Where there are unity and togetherness, there is the HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Today there may be disappointed hearts and fractured relationships. Rejoice because God will give you the most beautiful Christmas gifts this year. Many relationships will God restore, even more than before. There will be a different peace than the world can give. The peace in unity and togetherness that God has restored is better than ever. And the glory of God will shine brighter in the lives of all of us.

ANY RELATIONSHIP WILL BE RESTORED by God in this Christmas moment.

1. Do you have a relationship that needs to be restored right now?
2. Can you believe that it is time God will restore your relationship even more than before?
3. What is your commitment to God when your relationship is restored?

“Father, thank you for the most beautiful Christmas present for us. We believe, every relationship that was broken is restored than before. In unity and togetherness, we will be stronger and faster to walk in Your plan. In the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.”
