Restoring Divine Confidence (Morning)

TODAY’S FOOD FOR THE SOUL

Genesis 1:26-31

TODAY’S RHEMA

Genesis 1:27 God created humankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.

When we look at our reflection, it greatly affects our opinions toward ourselves. We see a handsome man or beautiful lady with decent clothing and fancy accessories, staring back at us and suddenly we find our moods swayed positively. On the contrary, a small crack can affect your reflection as well. Your reflection may seem a bit improperly reflected. We cannot see our reflection well. Is your contact lenses are placed well? You couldn’t see your acne. It would be a terrible mess.

If a small crack could ruin your day, imagine what a bigger crack could do. Imagine if you see a wrong mirror. Then what this ‘perfect’ mirror is? God’s word. A mirror that could reflect your inner self spotlessly. A mirror that tells you who you really are: made in the image of God. His image in flesh and blood.

When God created Adam, Adam was a magnificent person. He could clearly saw his potential within himself and saw God manifested Himself in his life. He conquered the world because he understood that God is with him all along. We could conquer this world as well if we understand and acknowledge our divine potential, our divine confidence, see God within ourselves. From now on, reflect yourself solely on His words.

REFLECTION

He wants to RESTORE our self-confidence with a new DIVINE CONFIDENCE.

APPLICATIONS

1. Why does God want to restore your self-confidence?
2. How do you look at yourself now? Can you see His image within your life?
3. What does it affect your daily life?

TODAY’S PRAYER

“Jesus Christ our LORD, I am grateful because You remind me of what I truly am. By Your grace and kindness, You created me in Your own image. Your perfect self-portrait. Let it roots deep in my heart, so I may be able to do whatever I must do and glorify Your Name even more. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.”
