Rise in Your Faith to Be the Prayer of Your Family (Evening)

Ephesians 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,

The life of Monica was closely related to Saint August of Hippo, who was known as disobedient in his younger days. Monica’s life was in trouble for Patricius, her husband, and August, her son. She bore everything full-hearted and patiently with the help of God. Years after, both Patricius and August repented and asked to be baptized. August was well aware of the struggle of his mother for him. In one of his writing, he describes the moment of loving conversation between the two of them in Ostia. Sitting by the window, looking at a calm sea, Monica said, “my child, the only reason I am still alive is that I want to see you grow as a Christian before I blow my last breath. It is now granted by God. More than that, God has moved you to devote your life to Him in a sincere. What more should I expect?”.

Monica’s tears and prayer were all paid off as Partricius and August’s lives were saved. Her love paved a path to a great work of God. Her love turned August from nobody to an impactful church figure through generations of the church because of his writing. Suppose you are a wife, rise in faith because this is a good night to start praying for our husbands and children. God listens to your every prayer because He sees your devotion and heart, and He will provide answers to every struggle of your family in time.

A wise woman RISE IN FAITH to become THE PRAYER for her family.

1. What have you done when your family runs into trouble?
2. As a prayer of the family, what are your points of prayer?
3. What answers have you got for your prayer for the family?

“Father, we pray for every woman in our family. Awaken their faith to become prayers for their family. We believe You will answer prayers of a sincere heart who prays for the salvation of one’s family. Thank You, Father. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
