Spiritual Resurrection is The First Step towards Victory (Morning)

TODAY’S RHEMA

Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

When Midianites took control and enslaved Israelites, it was not a beautiful sight. The Midianites took everything that Israelites owned. They seized their harvest, left nothing to Israelites to sustain themselves. They terrorised and pillaged each villages sporadically, those with sound mind flee to the mountains and caves. Their lives were so miserable, when God called Gideon to take arms and fight, Gideon was so frightened by Midianites that he forgot, GOD is far greater than Midianites. Therefore, GOD has another plan: He restored Gideon’s spirit first. Once a timid adult then he became a well known and respected rebel leader against Midianites. His change of personality? Not because he wanted to but because GOD made him, He restored and revived his spirit. Because God spirit was with him, he can defeat 10.000 Midianites with just 300 men.

But why didn’t GOD teach Gideon the art of war? Because GOD knew, if his spirit is restored, great unthinkable things could be done. David did the same. He never let his own might to defeat Goliath, instead he relied on His might alone.

If somehow you have the same problems as Israelites had, remember this: resurrect your spirit first, revive it. You may have strategy, well connected acquaintances or surplus funds. Those above are good, but God wants you to prioritize your spiritual growth first. This Easter moments is the perfect opportunity to revive it. Re-establish your relationship with God. Go fasting. You’ll see, one way or another, He will touch your life, and restore it. When He touches it, grace, victorious triumphant, glory and prosperous life would follow.
