The Fulfillment of God’s Promises at the End of the Year (Noon)

Acts 13:13-49

Acts 13:34b ‘I will give you the sure mercies of David.’

Time flies so quickly, and without realizing it, we are already at the end of 2020. For some people, December seems to be a month of holidays, where many people start reducing their busyness to prepare for a long vacation. But not for some people, especially office employees. Towards the end of the year, the activity began to feel intense. For example, for those who work in the audit department, it is common for the year-end moments to make auditors forced to work late until morning to complete their work. The Tour and Ticketing staff are also getting busier. Bookings of hotel accommodation or public transport and tour schedules increase sharply during the holidays. The print media editorial team must keep up with the printing schedule that will be off at the end of the year. Those who work as IT Support must be ready to anticipate a surge in transaction volume from various lines. They also have to respond quickly to fix if an error occurs in their digital system.

Likewise our Lord. This December, God is even more busy working. There is still so much that He has prepared for us. Many surprises are waiting for those of us who believe. Maybe in the past months, nothing had happened. There are no answers to prayer, no miracles, no breakthroughs, but this December, God’s work will make our hearts swell with joy (Isaiah 60).

Difficulties and darkness are only preludes or the beginning of the fulfillment of God’s promises. GOD HAS NOT FINISHED YET. What seems impossible and hopeless, will suddenly happen in our lives. Therefore, prepare yourself as well as possible. Fight for what we are doing right now. Fight harder for our cell group, tell the news of the joy of Christmas, and save souls even more enthusiastically, fight for our work and studies once again. Because this month, the light of God’s glory will shine in our lives so much BRIGHTER! Brighter than ever! Brighter than before!

Believe that at the end of 2020, GOD WILL BE FULFILLING HIS PROMISES in our lives.

1. At the end of this year, are you busier than before or vice versa?
2. Why would God want you to do better, even more, this year?
3. Write down your commitments, what will you do at the end of this year?

“Father, we believe that Your glory that comes at the end of this year will be much greater than before. Anoint us with greater fire so that we can rise more in every aspect of our lives. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.”
