The Holy Spirit’s Initial Character (Morning)

TODAY’S RHEMA

1 Peter 1:15-16 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

In popular psychology, there are four main types of personality. Sanguine, melancholic, choleric, and phlegmatic. Sanguine people tend to be more easy-going and upbeat. Melancholic is described as more sensitive. Phlegmatic individuals tend to be peace-loving and enjoy a quiet life. Choleric, on the contrary, are individuals with strong drive and ambition. Human personalities are more complex than these four.

The human may inhibit vastly different types of personality. Those four are oversimplifications. But Holy Spirit only has one character and personality. His personality and characteristic are embedded in His name, Holy. We know Holy Spirit is because of His Holiness. His purity, flawless attribute. You would find no evil inside and imperfection. He is the source of holiness and evil cannot emerge out of Him.

In life, we may experience turmoil, hardships, and obstacles. He lets those happened because first, He knows we can overcome it in His name, and second they are meant to strengthen our spiritual lives. Back to the first maxim that Holy Spirit is Holy then whatever He does to your life it should be for your goodness. You may not be able to see it right away.
