The Key to Flying High with The Wisdom of God (Noon)
Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.
Sarah always ranks first in her class. She realizes that she is not the smartest in her class, therefore she tries extra hard compared to Daisy, the smartest student. In every lesson, Sarah always listens to her teacher’s explanation carefully and doesn’t forget to write down every important point conveyed. Not only that, she would immediately do whatever task that is given. She is favored by her teachers.
Daisy thinks that she is so smart, so she becomes arrogant. That’s why Daisy always ranks second after Sarah, even though her IQ is above Sarah. Sarah doesn’t only rank first in her class but among all students.
The reason not all Christians can enjoy the blessings of all seasons lies in the sincerity of each individual. Not only in spiritual matters, but in daily life too. People who do things seriously will get different results from those who are only reckless just because they think they know already. To be brought high by God, we need to have God’s wisdom, and the key to getting it is earnestly LISTENING TO THE WORD and HOLDING ONTO GOD’S PROMISE. Only if we listen to and study the Word seriously will we be able to understand God’s Covenant. After understanding then we can hold on to God’s Blessing Covenant. God will make those who are faithful and true to His covenant into His beloved treasure. With the power of His wings, God, who owns the whole earth, will take us up, to fly higher to enjoy all the best blessing.
The key to flying high with the WISDOM of GOD is earnestly LISTENING TO THE WORD and HOLDING ONTO THE PROMISE OF GOD.
1. Why do you need God’s wisdom to fly high?
2. How do you know that you already have God’s wisdom?
3. What must you do to gain God’s wisdom?
“Lord, we know that you can take us up higher. We need Your wisdom and power. We want to learn to listen to Your words even more so that our faith will be strong and we can hold fast to Your covenant. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
