Total Restoration After Problems (Morning)

Job 23:1-10

Job 23:10 But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

“I can’t take it anymore!” Sheryl talked to herself. Life has always been so cruel in her eyes. After Jesus saved her, she could find her true purpose in life. She can endure it if Christ supports her. Never comes to her mind, a day that her faith was shaken so hard. Within a single day, everything she believed in was laid in waste. She cannot comprehend her predicaments and why God let this happened in her life. When nothing’s come to her mind, she decided to pray. Just right after she sat down she got her answer: He would never put you into test if He isn’t sure you will succeed.

Believe in Him doesn’t mean you have acquired a ‘free of troubles’ card. Let’s see Job, a great prophet. An exemplary embodiment of spiritual success and physical manifestation of happiness. God allowed Satan to destroy his life. His wealth disappeared. His children were no more. Her wife abandoned him. Even his friends accused him of wrongdoings. In the beginning, he accepted his fate. After so much he broke down. He wanted to face God head to head. He just wanted to defend himself in front of God. He wanted an appeal. Nevertheless, he didn’t lose his faith. He still believes in God. Never spoke ill or curse God. Like our Rhema today: But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

He said that consciously. He wasn’t delirious. After reaching a melting point of 1600 degrees Celsius (2912⁰F), twice, gold can be called ‘gold’. This procedure is to ensure no other impurities left in a solid gold ingot. Is it possible to add, let’s say, wood chips or granite to increase gold’s weight and quality and therefore tempers it? Counterfeit gold is not true gold. When we felt we are inside a blazing furnace, rejoice! God sees us as gold and not a 330⁰ Celsius lead. He is our goldsmith and He knows how to shape us into beautiful bracelets or necklaces. He will discard our impurities and make out pure gold from each of us. His furnace may be painful but it’s necessary. He will purify our lives and our hearts with His blazing love and restore them all.

God allows terrible things to happen NOT TO CAUSE YOU FAIL, instead, He wants to TEST your heart and PURIFY it.

1. What happened in your life lately? How did you manage to deal with it?
2. In your opinion, why does He allow it to happen?
3. How you will respond to your problems from now on?

“Father, how great You are. Forgive me if I suspected You for my predicaments and hardships. Touch my heart so I may understand and find Your way of thinking. To be able to find my faith, rise, and glorify Your Name even more. Let it happen through Your flame and furnace that my spirit and hearts be purified and emerge as pure solid gold. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.”
