True Source of Strength (Morning)

TODAY’S RHEMA

Psalms 46:2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Nowadays, electricity could be considered as much important as housing, clothing, or food. Without it, our work progress would be impossible. It reaches deep into our lives. In Indonesia, the average voltage is around 900 to 1.300 VA just for household use. If you use it above the threshold, there’s a big chance it would be shut down immediately. For bigger use, such as industrial use, events or anything else government allowance is starting from 20 kVA, to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Then, what does it do to our lives as Christians? We face numerous challenges and hardships at all times. To make us prevailed we must get stronger. We are not facing harsh punishment or persecution just like the early church was, but our challenges are far more subtle. Many of our brothers and sisters lost their faith, no more love, and hope, it makes us weak. To add some, the Covid-19 pandemic and recession divert our focus. We need more strength and power.

To become stronger, our source must be secure. If you use your might to face this world’s challenge, it would not be enough. You could be easily defeated and dominated because your strength is limited. But He gives us hope, gives us strength. His might is unlimited and His power knows no boundaries. With each challenge and hardship, we encounter He enables us to prevail and emerge stronger than before.
