We Must Believe that God is With Us (Evening)
Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ ”
At the end of December 2020, Ms. Nur Endha, her younger sister, and her nephew tested positive for Covid-19. Initially, they were very surprised because they had done health protocols well. Meanwhile, she and her sister are almost 50 years so they are at higher risk. But they refused to fear. They committed to believing that God is with them. During 14 days of quarantine in the hospital, they continued to build a personal relationship with God through quiet time together. In the first week of service of January 2021, there was a prayer to receive the anointing. They joined the service via streaming. They continued to believe that the Holy Spirit’s visitation cannot be limited by time and space. Sitting in their nursing bed, they felt the tangible presence and touch of the Holy Spirit. They were filled with peace that surpasses understanding. Now, they are completely healed.
When we study God’s Word, we know that He is Immanuel, God is with us. So wherever and whenever He will not leave us. Remember He is a Good Father. If worldly parents know how to act when their child is sick, even more so, our Father. He won’t stay still and definitely will do something. When we need help, the Father will certainly stretch out His hand and help us.
This is a FACT that we must know and believe by faith. Our hearts will be calm and peaceful, even though we face big problems and challenges. Take a step to continue to surrender and fully trust that God is always in control. We will not be afraid even though the storm comes. Problems and struggles may exist but they will not be able to steal the peace that God has given.
Knowing the FACT that GOD IS WITH US and BELIEVING IT by faith makes OUR HEART CALM AND PEACEFUL.
1. What makes you anxious?
2. Knowing the fact that God is always with you, what do you feel?
3. Can you share your experience feeling the presence of God?
“My dear Father, now we know a sure fact that You never once left us. We believe that You are always with us and we want to get rid of all the tricks of the devil trying to steal peace in our lives. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
