What Kind of Peace God Wants to Give? (Morning)

MARCH 9, 2021

Psalm 4:8-9 You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Perhaps we have this kind of colleagues or friends that suffer from insomnia. A vicious circle it is. They cannot sleep well at night and wake up too early or too late with less stamina and vigor before they went to bed. Poor Jill experienced this. She started to feel unwell and had vertigo. She almost lost hope when her church friend stepped in. She asked Jill about her spiritual life. Jill admitted she lacked any.

Her friend encouraged Jill to rebuild her strained relationship with God. It was not an easy task to accomplish, but she managed to do it. She could feel His peace, grace, and joy overflowing in her heart. Slowly but steadily, her new habit makes her sleeping patterns back to normal. Her vertigo seceded. She has peaceful sleep every night and feels refreshed every morning. She could do her jobs with a fresh start and a focused mind.

It’s not just Jill, many of us struggle with the same thing. It looks okay on the surface, but beneath it, many of us feel distressed, overwhelmed, and exhausted. Our daily activities may hinder our spiritual lives, surrounds our minds with anxieties, and claimed our inner peace. The good news is: He, our heavenly Father, provides us with unlimited peace of mind. But first, we must realize that He and only Him can provide peace and joy, more than in the season that their grain and wine increased. It’s not just spiritually but our daily lives as well. With that in mind, you may rest your mind and embrace your well-deserved slumber.

Amidst this chaos, we must embrace His Peace Covenant. First, we must restore our relationship with God and improve it. This is the only key, nothing else matters. Our church facilitates your spiritual needs and has them covered. David’s Tent 24/7 to improve and ‘aged’ your spiritual wine and keep it safe. Morning altar to start your day and gives you the necessary boost for your spiritual life.

1. What are your efforts to reclaim your peace and joy? What are the results?
2. Why it is mandatory to build a Peace Covenant with Holy Spirit?
3. What can you do to make peace and joy fill your heart and life?

“O LORD, we are grateful for Your this moment of peace and tranquility You gave us. Forgive us of our wrongdoings if many times we abandoned Your peace and joy for less important things. We want to keep our hearts and Your peace. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.”
