Have Divine Peace and Joy (Evening)
Isaiah 55:12 “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Every year, Naomi received and believed every rhema that is shared by our senior pastor. Every new year, she has the hope that in the coming year she will experience extraordinary miracles and breakthroughs in finance and family restoration. She is steadfast in following God. Several years have passed, nothing significant has happened. She still had to struggle with finances and marriage. She was about to give up, he was tired of hoping. The good thing is she didn’t even think about leaving God because she had fallen in love with God.
Entering the second Sunday in March 2021, Naomi heard a teaching about the Covenant of Peace in the church. She just realized that even though things haven’t changed, even though she no longer hopes for anything, but there is still peace and joy in her heart, no matter how bad the problems she is facing. God never lets Naomi be immersed in troubles for too long. There is always a way out, or if there isn’t, there is always comfort so that she can return to her joy and her life feels peaceful. She feels very blessed and grateful that God enables her to be faithful to God, the Source of Peace.
Indeed, not everyone is lucky to get answers to prayers and miracles quickly. There are times when we have to wait for years or even decades for God to answer our prayers. But believe me, God knows what’s best for us. When is the time, ready or not, do we still need a process or not, it is all His sovereignty. If we can understand it, then even if things don’t change right away, we will still be able to stay calm and believe. In our hearts there will remain divine peace and joy, even praise and thanksgiving will continue to overflow from our hearts to God.
Circumstances may not change right away, but STAY PEACEFUL AND HAPPY.
1. Have you lost peace and joy because of unchanging circumstances?
2. How can you restore peace and joy to your heart?
3. What difference do you feel when you can still be thankful and think positively even though things haven’t changed?
“Jesus, thank you for all the good things in our lives. We know that not everything we hoped for has come true. Thank you, Lord for the divine peace and joy that You have put in our hearts. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
