Have The Thirst for God’s Rhema (Evening)

Jeremiah 33: 1-13

Jeremiah 33: 3 Call to Me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

Peter Sondakh is a successful businessman who is listed as the top 10 richest people in Indonesia. Peter is a devoted Christian who is obedient and operates his business based on God’s economy. When the economic crisis hit in 1997, he almost went bankrupt. But with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he paid all his debts in the form of foreign currency. Four months after that devaluation happened, the rupiah currency took a plunge but his business was saved. Peter believed more in God than the finance experts in his company.

God said to Zachariah not to depend on human strength or even his own, he won’t be able to see or achieve any success. Zachariah will be able to see, understand, and be successful if he walks with the Lord’s spirit ( Zachariah 4:6).
This is our most powerful rhema in the year 2021. Not with might or power but with the Holy Spirit.

2020 is behind us but the massive difficulties which we encountered made us apprehensive to enter the new year. The bitter economy which failed massively made many unable to face the future with confidence.
There are too many uncertainties ahead of us in 2021. But once again we are reminded that our strength is very limited. Our skills are useless. Let’s change our focus and start creating a thirst in our hearts to wait for God’s Rhema. This is the turning point that is most sensible to take as God’s Rhema is always right. We will never deviate from the right path if we walk with the Rhema of God. Whatever mountains are facing us, stay strong. Seek God even more. Call upon God’s Name and He will answer you and He will give the wisdom which we desperately need. ( Jeremiah 33 : 3 ). Holy Spirit will take over and lead us into a bright future full of victory.

Shift our focus from the uncertainty of the future in 2021 to the thirst for God’s Rhema.

1. How do you perceive your future in 2021? What do you see?
2. How vital is God’s rhema in your life?
3. How do you shift your focus? From the uncertainty of the future to the thirst for God’s Rhema?

“Heavenly Father, thank you for Your revelation tonight. We surrender our future into the leading hands of Your Holy Spirit. We believe that He will supply us the wisdom in everything that we do. And we will surely see the magnificent works of the Holy Spirit manifested abundantly in our life. This year will be a victorious one and Your Name will be even more glorified. In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray. Amen.”
