Receive Total Healing and Walk Towards Victory (Evening)

FOOD FOR THE SOUL

Deuteronomy 31:1-8

RHEMA

Deuteronomy 31:8 And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

One of the church members shared a testimony that some time ago he joined the Retreat Encounter. During the ‘self-image’ session, the Holy Spirit reminded him that there were still things he had not resolved with someone. With the guidance of the counselor, he prayed and decided to give up forgiveness. Then this congregation felt great relief in its heart.

Actually, this incident had happened 31 years ago, but without realizing it, he continued to carry it in its heart. Praise God, after he was willing and able to forgive, the Holy Spirit fully restored him and he was released from the shackles that had bound his mind for decades. He was really very grateful to be led by God to join the Retreat Encounter and now he is ready to rise up to save souls for the glory of God.

It is the same as the sermon shared last Sunday, that there are 2 types of people who have disappointment, bitterness, hurt, or something else. One is very visible in his attitude and speech, the other is invisible, from the outside it looks fine. Today, if we feel we still have a virus in our hearts and souls, let’s not be ashamed and discouraged. Open your heart wide to the word of God. Because only with the word our hearts and souls can be completely healed. Ask for the help of the Holy Spirit to restore us completely so that we can be led by God to walk towards victory.

REFLECTION

When our souls are NOT COMPLETELY RESTORED, we CANNOT BE BROUGHT BY GOD to the victory.

APPLICATIONS

1. Are there things that still have to be worked out in your heart?
2. Will you open your heart so that Jesus can heal your inner wound?
3. What will you do if you have received restoration from the Lord?

PRAYER

“Father, thank you because at this time You remind us to get rid of the problems in our hearts. We often still have hurt, disappointment, or bitterness. We want to open our hearts to Your Word because we believe that only You can heal and restore us. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
