Resurrection of Christ (Morning)

TODAY’S RHEMA

Romans 6:9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

She is a herbal medicine magnate (known in Indonesia as ‘jamu’). Martha Tilaar, with her husband, Dr. Henry Alex Rudolf Tilaar, have been married for eleven years. She must face it, obstetrician and gynecologist experts said she was infertile. She resorted to herbal medicine to resolve her problem with infertility. At 41 years of age, her menstruation cycle suddenly stopped. Hopeful that finally, she could bear a kid she went to a doctor, that told her: it’s because of menopause. Broken-hearted, she went back to her home.

She met with her husband and tearfully asked her husband to find a second wife if he wanted to have a baby. Her faithful husband declined and told her to start praying. Her prayers include: God, I believe in You. I know You will only bring goodness in my life. God answered her prayers and she was pregnant. Overwhelmed by joy and happiness, he visited an obstetrician, who said: with her current age, her baby would have a disability at least. Still faithful to God, they decided to keep the baby instead of abortion. At 42 years of age, Martha Tilaar became a mother. She will have another three more children.

Some of us may have a dying aspect of our lives currently, just like Martha Tilaar once had. It is maybe your financial situation, your health, your family, or study. At these Passover festivities, we are reminded, how Jesus was resurrected and brought back to life. It gives us proofs that: He will resurrect our hopes, bring our dying lives’ aspects to life. Our moment of despair and death would be changed into life and glory. Do not give up.
