Stay in Love with The Holy Spirit (Morning)

Leviticus 6:13 A continual fire must be kept burning on the altar. It must not be extinguished.

Campfire, an inseparable part of camping and outdoor activities. It functions not only as a source of light and warmth, but it also keeps any wild animals away, cooking, and of course campfire stories. It is necessary to maintain the fire. Do not put too many firewoods or it’ll burn your entire camp down or too little so it cannot maintain its heat, and therefore extinguished.

Do you remember when you were first falling in love with the Holy Spirit? It seems that you are spirited away. It burnt your soul and make it brightly shine. And your naivete thinks that it would last forever. Unknown to you, it is not. Disappointments, bitterness, sadness, sorrow, worldly affairs, or even your services to God could distract your love from God. This burning love no longer has its resource to keep burning. Then out of nowhere, it is extinguished.

Keeping love needs conscious efforts and planning. You should add more firewoods or coal. Add more time to listen to Him, praise and worship Him, and read His messages. It’s necessary to maintain your fiery love keep ablaze and bring forth His reciprocal love.

Falling in love ISN’T HARD, the hardest part is to MAINTAIN THE LOVE and to STAY IN LOVE with the Holy Spirit.

1. How’s your relationship with the Holy Spirit?
2. Why is it important to maintain your love?
3. Then, what will you do to maintain your love?

“O good Father, loving Father. Forgive us if somehow we are still distracted and keep our distance from You. Bring us back and lead us. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.”
