The Best Thing to Start 2021 (Evening)
FOOD FOR THE SOUL
John 20:22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
Gideon was once an insecure and timid person. When the enemy came to attack and destroy the Israelites, he only hid. His life was inseparable from poverty, pressure, and fear. But all changed SINCE HE EXPERIENCED ENCOUNTER WITH GOD. He seemed to be born again with a soul and spirit that experienced fulfillment in God. Enemies and problems that used to seem very big and impossible to defeat, can now be easily overcome. Not by the ways and strategies of humans, BUT WITH THE POWER OF GOD.
Yes, the problem is the same, the pressure is the same but God’s anointing made helpless people brave. The impossibility turns into victory. The Spirit of God who controlled, filled, and reigned over Gideon changed everything. It is the same as experienced by Jesus’ disciples. When Jesus breathed on them, they could do things they previously couldn’t. They can even do mighty things by the power of the Holy Spirit.
It is no coincidence that this year is the Year of the Holy Spirit. And what happened to Gideon and Jesus’ disciples will also happen in our lives if we believe and catch this rhema. What was impossible to happen in 2020 will be realized by the power of the Holy Spirit. But we need to BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND ENCOUNTER HIM PERSONALLY. Continue to build David’s Tent, receive and catch rhema in every service in our church. Join the Morning Prayer, and continue to be immersed in God’s presence. That’s the best thing we can do to start in 2021. Not by our might, but by the power of the Holy Spirit, we will get victory after victory throughout this year. Hallelujah!
THE BEST THING we can do to start 2021 is BEING FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
1. Are there any problems that you have not resolved?
2. What do you think will happen if you are filled with the Holy Spirit?
3. Write down your commitment to drawing closer to God so that the work of the Holy Spirit becomes more evident in your life?
“Jesus, thank you for Your Spirit who always accompanies, reminds, guides, and gives us victory. We believe this year. we will see Your more powerful works in our life. This is our commitment, O Lord, to get closer to You because we long to see Your glory increasingly manifested in our lives. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.”
