With God, All Things Are Possible (Morning)
Mark 9:23b …all things are possible to him who believes.”
Many times our Head Pastor, Obaja Tanto Setiawan said “without faith, I would never be in this position”. He repeats this quote so many times, to emphasize its importance. He was a shy child back then, he rushed into his room when strangers visited his parents’ house. But look at him now! Can you believe this shy child, now saves thousands and thousands of souls and brings them to God? Lead many local churches and established their seminary? This is how faith works, when he walks by faith, surrenders everything in His hands and lets Him take control, our pastor proves it, nothing is impossible.
If you open your mind and delve deeper into the Holy Scripture, many pages tell us how magnificent faith is. From Daniel who could close lion’s jaw, infertile Abraham and Sarah, Moses and Israelites journey, Joshua, reclaimed their rightful place, to the early church.
Their secret is simple yet breathtaking: faith. Without faith, they won’t be able to see as God sees and act like God wanted them to do. Therefore, if you want to do impossible feats, rebuild your current state of faith. Consistently listen and follow His words. Let Holy Spirit leads you and your actions, after all, this year is the Year of the Holy Spirit right? Holy Spirit will restore our lives and strengthen them, to better suit us in our endeavor.
Build a STRONGER MORE RESOLUTE FAITH, and ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
1. Why should we build our faith before we could do impossible feats?
2. How important is it to build our faith? How it will affect your life, and what will you probably feel after?
3. What are your commitments to rebuild or restore your current state of faith? Share it with your cell group.
“Our heavenly Father, we believe You enable us to do great things. We are grateful for Your Spirit that leads us and strengthens us. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.”
